How many kids per year do you serve?
Between summer camp and day camps, we serve approximately 250 children per year.
How many kids can you take to camp?
Our goal is to take 50 children to each summer camp.
How does my donation get spent?
What do you need most?
Time - Volunteers are the reason we are able to operate! We require a 1 to 1 ratio of campers to counselors at camp. We also have other areas that we need volunteers: Board Members and Committee members - Events, Activities, Marketing, Donations, Volunteers, etc.
Amazon wish list items - these items are what we need to provide decoration, activities, medical supplies, and fun for camp!
How much does it cost for one camper to attend summer camp and yearly ACTIVITIES?
All camp activities are provided to our campers & their families with no out of pocket costs. However, Camp River Run pays $1000.00 per camper for summer camp and $200 per camper for the year’s day camps.
How does CAmp river run fund yearly camp activities?
We raise funds through events, individual and corporate giving, and annual campaigns.
